Energy class in Greece (ΠΕΑ)
Official certificate: ΠΕΑ
Greece uses the ΠΕΑ certificate to classify the energy performance of buildings.
The scale is relative: thresholds are expressed as a ratio to a reference building.
Official ΠΕΑ scale
| Class | Max EP ratio |
|---|---|
| A+ | ≤ 0.33 |
| A | ≤ 0.50 |
| B+ | ≤ 0.75 |
| B | ≤ 1.00 |
| C | ≤ 1.41 |
| D | ≤ 1.82 |
| E | ≤ 2.27 |
| F | ≤ 2.73 |
| G | ∞ |
How the estimate works in Greece
In Greece, the class is based on the ratio between the estimated energy consumption and that of a standard reference building. This method is called relative or ratio-based.
Data available for 1,052 local climate zones in Greece.
